Ye Tian

Ye Tian is a Senior Researcher at Tencent's Robotics X Lab and AI Lab since March 2019, specializing in agent planning, embodied intelligence, reinforcement learning from human feedback for large language models, and reinforcement learning for games. Prior experience includes a role as a Senior Researcher in the Medical AI Lab focusing on human action and gait analysis in videos, and a Machine Learning and Data Science Intern/Data Scientist position at Verb Surgical Inc., where deep learning techniques were applied to analyze surgical videos. Ye Tian holds a Master of Science in Robotics from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical and Automation Engineering from Beijing Jiaotong University. Additional research experience includes contributions as a Graduate Student Researcher and Course Assistant at The Johns Hopkins University and a Research Fellow at the University of Maryland Medical Center, focusing on video understanding and medical imaging analysis.
