Linhua (Leon) Xu

Senior Engineer at Deepsight Technology

Leon Xu, also known as Linhua Xu, has substantial work experience in the field of engineering and research. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Engineer at DeepSight Technology since March 2021.

Prior to this, Leon worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Washington University in St. Louis from September to December 2020. During this role, they contributed to research projects in an academic setting.

Before joining DeepSight Technology again, Leon served as an Engineering Intern at the same company from May to August 2020, gaining practical experience in the industry.

Leon also has an extensive tenure at Washington University in St. Louis, where they held the position of Graduate Research Assistant from September 2013 to May 2020. In addition, they briefly worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for the course MEMS 5611 Principles and Method of Micro/Nano Fabrication from January to April 2016, conducting lab sessions for a group of students.

Furthermore, Leon gained valuable experience during their time at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, starting as an Undergraduate Research Assistant from February 2010 to June 2013. Later, from September to December 2011, they worked as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant, assisting in teaching activities.

Lastly, Leon had an Internship Trainee position at Baosteel Group Co. for a brief period in July 2012, acquiring industry-specific knowledge.

Linhua (Leon) Xu completed their Bachelor's degree in Materials Science & Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in the year 2013. Following this, they pursued their doctoral studies at Washington University in St. Louis, obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Materials Science and Engineering in 2020.
