Mark Huang

Mark Kim-Huang is a seasoned technology and finance professional with extensive experience in machine learning, quantitative research, and startup leadership. As the Co-Founder and Chief Architect at DeepSky since 2024, Mark focuses on driving innovation in enterprise search. Prior to this, Mark co-founded Gradient and a stealth startup, contributing to advancements in technology. With a background as a Staff ML Scientist at Splunk, Mark led efforts in machine learning engineering, emphasizing production-level algorithms for anomaly detection and forecasting. Other notable roles include Lead Data Scientist at Box, Senior Research Scientist at Stevens Capital Management, and founding the quantitative research team at FDT Capital LTD. Mark holds a B.A. in Mathematics from the University of Pennsylvania and a B.S. in Finance and Statistics from The Wharton School.
