Mihaita Leoveanu

Mihaita Leoveanu has diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and technology integration.

Mihaita began their career as a Software Engineer Intern at 4PSA in 2009, where they primarily worked with C programming in a Linux environment. During their internship, they developed a Linux daemon from scratch using Advanced Message Queuing Protocol (AMQP) and created a custom thread pool using pthreads.

In 2010, Mihaita joined Misys as an Associate Software Engineer. Mihaita primarily focused on C/C++ programming for the Summit FT product in the Accounting team. During their time at Misys, they worked on projects for clients such as Bank of Ireland and Temasek, gaining experience in the full software development lifecycle.

Mihaita transitioned to Ixia in 2011, taking on the role of a Software Engineer II. Mihaita worked on the Licensing and Diagnostics module, which was integrated with multiple Ixia applications. During this time, they gained expertise in C, Java, C#, and Python programming. As the team transitioned to other projects, Mihaita became a one-man team, responsible for managing the module independently.

In 2016, Mihaita was promoted to Senior Application Developer at Ixia. Mihaita worked as a full-stack engineer, using Java, Vanilla JavaScript, jQuery, Angular 2, and various AWS services. Mihaita played a crucial role in building the Ixia Identity platform, which had over 100,000 users and was integrated with all Ixia products. Additionally, they contributed to the development of the Ixia Ecommerce platform, facilitating the sale and provisioning of multiple usage-based SaaS products.

Mihaita joined Keysight Technologies as an IT Architect in 2018, following the acquisition of Ixia. Mihaita was responsible for integrating Ixia systems with Keysight systems. This involved integrating Ixia's Automatic order processing and Electronic Data Interchange with resellers, requiring collaboration with individuals across different locations and departments.

In 2019, Mihaita joined Blink as a Senior Full Stack Engineer. Mihaita worked with Vanilla JavaScript, StemJS, Python with Django, and ReactJS. Mihaita successfully migrated the Admin application from ReactJS to StemJS and integrated the back-end with CDS Global payment and identity solution. Additionally, they took on the role of Engineering Manager and led a team of nine software engineers. Mihaita prioritized good software development practices, communication, and transparency, engaging in regular meetings with engineers and company leadership.

Most recently, Mihaita joined Tuune in 2021 as a Full Stack Engineer. Mihaita worked on various projects, utilizing their skills in Full Stack development. Their role involved developing and maintaining software applications using multiple programming languages and frameworks.

In 2023, Mihaita will be joining DeepStream Technologies as a Senior Software Engineer.

Mihaita Leoveanu obtained a Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering from the University of Bucharest, where they studied from 2010 to 2013. Before that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Informatics at the same institution, from 2007 to 2010. Prior to their university education, Mihaita attended Stefan Odobleja High School of Informatics in Craiova from 2003 to 2007, specializing in Mathematics and Computer Science.
