Dan Caccavano

Dan Caccavano has a wide range of work experience. Dan began their career in 2008 as a Language Arts Teacher for the David Douglas School District. In 2011, they became a Front End and Ruby on Rails Developer and Front End Web Developer for Burnside Digital. In 2013, they became a Software Engineer for RightSignature LLC. In 2014, they became a Senior Software Engineer for Citrix. In 2017, they became a Senior Software Engineer for VerticalChange. Currently, they are a Frontend Software Engineer for DeepSurface, where they automate vulnerability analysis based on network context to provide security, IT, and audit teams with a comprehensive threat model.

Dan Caccavano received their B.A. in English Literature from the University of Portland in 2005. Dan then went on to pursue an M.A.T. in Secondary Education from the University of Portland, which they completed in 2007.
