Prajwal Bende

Prajwal Bende has seven years of work experience. In 2022, they began working as an Associate Data Scientist at DeepTek. In 2021, they became a Research Associate at Philips Innovation Campus, Bangalore. In 2020, they worked as a Research Intern at Philips Innovation Campus, Bangalore where they worked on detection of Pulmonary embolism from Lung CT images using Machine Learning and Image Processing techniques. Prajwal also developed new algorithms for vessel segmentation using vessel enhancement filters. In 2019, they were a Summer Research Intern at Alberta Machine Intelligence Institute (Amii). In 2018, they were a Research Intern at Froot Research and a Remote Research Intern at the University of Maryland, where they worked on the Audio Visual Emotion Challenge and Workshop (AVEC 2017) Depression Challenge. Prajwal used various Machine Learning techniques like Random Forest Regression, Deep Neural Networks (ANN, CNN regressor) to predict PHQ-8 depression score from speech of individuals. In 2017, they were a Electric Vehicle Team Member at Team KART.

Prajwal Bende graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur in 2021 with an Integrated Masters (B.Tech + M.Tech) in Electrical Engineering. In 2018, they obtained a certification in Deep Learning A-Z: Hands on Artificial Neural Networks from Udemy.
