Steve Werby

Steve Werby is an experienced information security professional currently serving as the Director of Advisory Services at deepwatch since July 2018 and the Director of Strategic Services and Customer Success at AttackIQ, where leadership focuses on enhancing customer satisfaction with the FireDrill platform. With a history of leadership roles, including President and Senior Information Security Consultant at Befriend and Enterprise Security Architect at CarMax, Werby has established a strong foundation in enterprise information security architecture and governance. Additional positions include serving as Information Security Officer for Altria Group and leading the information security programs at both Virginia Commonwealth University and the Virginia Department of Corrections. Werby holds an MBA from Virginia Commonwealth University and a BS in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech.
