Maggie Leftwich

Maggie Leftwich is an accomplished communications professional with a diverse background in public information and leadership roles. Currently serving as the Public Information Officer at Deer Creek Public Schools since March 2023, Maggie previously held the position of Student Leadership Director at Putnam City North High School from August 2020 to March 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Account Executive, Account Coordinator, and Digital Intern at Saxum from August 2016 to August 2020. During an earlier tenure as Editor in Chief at The Talon from April 2016 to April 2018, Maggie managed editorial content and staff while optimizing the publication's online presence. Maggie is pursuing a Master of Arts in Leadership in Communications at the University of Central Oklahoma, set to complete in May 2024, and holds a degree from Oklahoma Christian University, having graduated in 2018.
