Ashlee Tremaine is currently working as an English Teacher at Deer Park ISD since 2022. Prior to this, Ashlee worked as a Teacher at Goose Creek CISD and as a Substitute Teacher at Lewisville ISD. Ashlee also has experience as a Material Availability Analyst at Neovia Logistics. Ashlee is currently pursuing a Doctor of Law degree at Mitchell Hamline School of Law, and holds a Master's degree in Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management from Arizona State University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in International/Global Studies from Texas A&M University.

Deer Park ISD is known throughout the State of Texas for its quality instructional program, outstanding facilities and exemplary teaching and support staff. Team Deer Park---comprised of all employees, students, parents, taxpayers, community members and elected officials---received a “Recognized” rating from the State of Texas this year, the seventh time the district received the rating in the last eight years In 1930, the district’s first school opened in the small community of Deer Park, which was located in east Harris County. Today, the district is comprised of 15 schools and several support buildings, and enrollment has grown to over 12,300 students. Located about 20 miles southeast of downtown Houston, the district’s boundaries include most of the City of Deer Park as well as portions of Pasadena, Lynchburg and Highlands. LEADERSHIP As a Texas public school district, Deer Park ISD is governed by a seven-member Board of Trustees. Trustees are elected at large to three-year terms of office. The Board of Trustees sets governing policies for the district and hires the superintendent of schools, who is the head administrator for the district.
