Danielle Calandra has extensive experience in the field of special education, currently serving as a Special Education Teacher for the Deer Park School District since November 2015, where responsibilities include teaching a self-contained class for 1st and 2nd graders. Prior to this role, Danielle worked as a Teaching Assistant in the same school district, providing instructional support and behavior management to students with disabilities. From October 2012 to November 2015, Danielle was a Teaching Assistant at the Developmental Disabilities Institute, focusing on children with Autism and employing Applied Behavior Analysis to address behavioral needs. Danielle holds a Master's degree in Special Education from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor's degree in Speech Communication from St. Joseph's University New York.
