Tian J Yang

Tian J (TJ) Yang is a seasoned professional in preclinical development, currently serving as Vice President of Preclinical Development at Deerfield Management since December 2021. With a robust background encompassing over two decades in the pharmaceutical industry, Tian previously held the position of Sr. Director and Head of Nonclinical Drug Safety and DMPK at TB Alliance, where oversight included drug candidate selection and the successful completion of eight preclinical IND packages. Prior experience includes leading drug metabolism efforts at Hoffmann-La Roche and serving as a DMPK project leader at Bristol-Myers Squibb. Tian's career commenced at DUPONT MERCK PHARMACEUTICAL CO as a Sr Research Scientist, following an academic foundation with a PhD in Pharmacology from Peking Union Medical College.
