Alice Herz is an experienced youth services professional currently serving as a Youth Services Assistant and previously as an Assistant Youth Services Librarian at Deerfield Public Library since June 2022. Prior to this role, Alice worked as an Elementary School Teacher at Bernard Zell Anshe Emet Day School from August 2006 to June 2013. Alice's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a Master of Education from National University, and participation in the Learning For Action Fellowship focused on climate education and mitigation through Terra.do. Currently, Alice is pursuing further studies in the Harvard Extension Graduate Program from June 2023 to May 2025.
