Cássia D'Elia has a diverse range of work experience. Cássia is currently serving as a Lead Brand Designer at Deezer since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Art Director & Visual Designer at an undisclosed company since 2019. From 2016 to 2019, they worked at Fjord as a Senior Visual & Service Designer, where they played multiple roles as a visual designer, UX/UI designer, and consultant. Cássia also worked as a Student Researcher at École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs from 2016 to 2018, focusing on graphic design, visual environment, and eco-conception. Before that, they worked as a freelance graphic designer from 2008 to 2016, taking on various projects as an art director and graphic designer. Cássia also gained experience as a Senior Art Director at Tátil Design in 2011, an Art Director and Lead Designer at Totem in 2007, and a Graphic Designer at La Estampa in 2007. Cássia's career began as an Intern Graphic Designer at Crama Design Estratégico from 2005 to 2006.

Cássia D'Elia has a Master's degree in Graphic Design from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro, which they earned from 2002 to 2007. Additionally, they completed a theoretical course in the creative process at EAV Parque Lage in 2007. Later, from 2013 to 2015, they obtained a Post-diplôme in contemporary art from Institut des hautes études en arts plastiques (Iheap). More recently, from 2016 to 2018, they conducted research in graphic design and visual environment at École nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs.
