Chinedu Onyema

Chinedu Onyema has a well-rounded work experience, starting with their current position as a Radio Promotion/Marketing Coordinator at Def Jam Recordings since December 2021. Prior to this role, they held the position of Marketing Assistant at Def Jam Recordings from September 2020 to December 2021.

Before their time at Def Jam Recordings, Chinedu worked as an Ad Sales Associate at NBCUniversal Media, LLC from July 2019 to September 2020. Chinedu was selected as one of 12 participants for NBCU's Ad Sales Associates Program for 2019, where they gained valuable experience in sales, marketing, research, and strategy.

Chinedu also has experience in management, having worked as an Area Manager at Amazon from April 2017 to June 2018, and again from July 2017 to July 2017.

Prior to their time at Amazon, Chinedu was involved in various roles at Rutgers University. Chinedu served as the Program Board Performing Arts Chair from May 2014 to May 2016, focusing on providing campus engagement to all Rutgers-Newark students. Chinedu also worked as an Orientation Leader from June 2013 to August 2015, where they sharpened their leadership and soft skills by leading a group of over 200 students through orientation.

Chinedu has also gained experience in the sports and beverages industry, having worked as an Events Marketing Intern at the New Jersey Devils in the summer of 2015, and as a Sierra Mist Alchemist Fellow at PepsiCo from February 2015 to April 2015.

Chinedu Onyema attended Rutgers Business School and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing/ Supply Chain Management. The exact dates of enrollment and completion are not specified.
