Founded in 1992 by Hope and Shane Cooper, DeFeet craftsmanship and attention to detail has captured the attention of a global customer base. Within a few years of it's launch, DeFeet products were used to take the Tour de France, World Championships, multiple one day Classic's and scores of the toughest endurance athletic tests on the planet. Cyclists and runners demanded DeFeet socks be worn in their shoes. In the midst of a tremendous growth phase, the DeFeet factory suddenly burned to the ground on October 21, 2001. DeFeet entered an arduous rebuilding period. The state-of-the-art DeFeet USA Factory was built on top of the ashes of the old. Today, DeFeet employs many skilled craftspeople, technicians, service representatives and sales and marketing professionals. Kennedy, the E-Awards goes to American brands that show excellence in product export from the United States.
