Defence Equipment & Support (DE&S)
Ben Perkins-Brown is an experienced engineering leader specializing in defense and aerospace systems. Currently serving as the Defence Engineering Champion Team Leader at Defence Equipment & Support (DE&S) since August 2022, Ben previously held the position of RPAS Chief Engineer for TAA Minis at DE&S from October 2020 to August 2022. Ben’s career at the Royal Navy spanned from December 2012 to October 2020, where responsibilities included Chief Engineer for the Wildcat and N2 MilCAM projects, as well as oversight of Historic Flight and Grob Tutor operations. Prior to these roles, Ben was an Aeronautical Engineer and Military Assistant to the Director Technical in the Defence Safety Authority. Ben holds a degree in Aerospace Systems Engineering from the University of Southampton, completed in 1999.
