David Zimmer

David Zimmer currently serves as T31 Operational Delivery Lead and Operations Manager for Maritime Support Transformation at Defence Equipment & Support (DE&S), focusing on enhancing the Royal Navy's ship availability. Prior experience includes roles at the Atomic Weapons Establishment, where David was a Delivery Manager and UK Deputy Senior Manager, overseeing operational delivery for the nuclear trials programme, and earlier positions as Group Leader Logistics and Head of Estate Services, managing logistics and service contracts with significant budgets. David's military career began as an Infantry Soldier and progressed to an Infantry Officer, with extensive operational experience. David holds a Project Management Qualification from the Association of Project Management.
