Joanna Carslake

Joanna Carslake is a seasoned recruitment professional with extensive experience in talent acquisition and management. Currently serving as the Senior Talent Acquisition Manager at Defence Equipment & Support (DE&S) since November 2020, Joanna leads the Recruitment Operations Team, overseeing recruitment across various functions. Prior to this role, Joanna was the Recruitment Manager at DS Smith from September 2012 to October 2020, where collaboration with HR Business Partners and Operational Managers was key to understanding and fulfilling recruitment needs. Joanna's previous positions include Recruitment Manager at G4S, where management of a team for the 2012 Olympics took place, and Senior Recruiter at Securitas, focusing on high-volume recruitment in a Shared Service environment. Joanna began their career in recruitment at Capital One and has held HR positions at FirstPlus Financial. Joanna holds a BSc in Sociology from Bucks New University.
