Katische Vinning has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Katische began their career as a Credit Controller at Tanner Menzies in 2000. Katische then worked as a Branch Coordinator at Ambit Recruitment, overseeing the daily operations of the branch and providing executive support services. In 2006, they became a Recruitment Process Delivery Coordinator at the same company, where they coordinated the recruitment process for government agencies.

Vinning joined Thales in 2007 and held multiple roles, including Bid Support Manager and Bid Administrator. In these positions, they worked on analyzing opportunities, providing bid advice, and contributing to the development of winning proposals.

Katische Vinning completed a Graduate Certificate in Management at the Australian Institute of Business from 2019 to 2020. Following that, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration, Management, and Operations at the same institution from 2020 to 2022. In 2023, Katische attended the Australian Institute of Company Directors for foundations of Directorship.
