Anthony Faust has over 24 years of experience with Defence Research and Development Canada, currently serving as the Acting Program Manager for Counter Explosive Threat and Land Autonomy. In this role, Anthony leads the coordination and execution of programs addressing Canadian Armed Forces' counter explosive threat priorities, including C-IED and countermine operations. Previously, Anthony held positions such as Scientific Lead for Counter Explosive Threat, Head of Threat Mitigation Group, and Defence Scientist, focusing on research and technology development for explosive detection. Additionally, Anthony is active in NATO, serving as the Chair of the Team of Experts on Technologies for Military Search and representing Canada in various task groups. Anthony holds a PhD in Physics from the University of Alberta and a BSc (Hons) in Physics and Mathematics from the University of Victoria.
