Boniface Yogendran, CD, currently serves as a Defence Scientist specializing in AI/ML and Quantum Computing at Defence Research and Development Canada since December 2022. Previously held roles include Quantum Software Engineer at Zapata Computing, and extensive positions within the Canadian Armed Forces, culminating in DGLEPM Data Officer, where significant contributions included co-founding an internal consulting agency and enhancing data quality across sub-organizations. Additional leadership roles included Acting Chief Technology Officer, Analyst Team Lead, and Operations Officer, which involved implementing key technology systems and spearheading critical operations. Boniface Yogendran also developed an algorithmic trading strategy with FOREX and served as Chief Operations Officer/Chief Technical Officer at Vessel Innovations Inc. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Data Science from The University of Edinburgh and a Bachelor of Engineering in Biological/Biosystems Engineering from the University of Guelph.
