Elie Abed, Ph.D., MBA, possesses extensive experience in both applied sciences and military operations. Currently serving in the Applied Sciences Group at Defence Research and Development Canada since July 2022, Elie also holds the title of Officer with the Canadian Armed Forces since May 2019. Previous roles include Scientific Consultant at JCGENETICS INC and Research Associate at CRCHUM, where laboratory management and scientific research were key responsibilities. Elie's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and an MBA, alongside multiple master's degrees in biology and animal physiology. Additionally, Elie has contributed to teaching in various physiology courses and specialized in X-ray computed microtomography, focusing on bone architecture and osteoporosis research.
