Vincent Roy is a Defence Scientist at Defence Research and Development Canada since March 2003, focusing on the exploitation of electro-optical and infrared (EO/IR) imagery and the development of algorithms for target detection, characterization, and identification. Previously, Vincent served in the Canadian Forces from January 2009 to June 2011, working on advanced imagery exploitation using non-conventional imagery sources to support the Advanced Exploitation Section at the Joint Imagery Center and developing advanced geointelligence techniques. Additionally, Vincent was a visiting scientist at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency from November 2006 to November 2008, contributing to the NGA InnoVision Basic and Applied Research Office. Vincent holds a Master of Science in Remote Sensing (2003) and a Bachelor of Science in Physics (2000), both from Université de Sherbrooke.
