Warren Connors has a diverse work experience in the defense and research field. Warren has recently been working as the Section Head of Underwater Warfare at Defence Research and Development Canada. Prior to this, they held the position of Defence Scientist/Group Leader at the same organization.

Before joining Defence Research and Development Canada, Warren worked as a Scientist at the Centre for Maritime Research and Experimentation from 2014 to 2017. Warren also gained valuable experience in computer science and machine learning at Defence Research and Development Canada from 2007 to 2014.

Warren had a brief stint as a Visiting Scientist at the Centre for Maritime Research and Experimentation in 2013. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Developer/Project Engineer at MDA from 2001 to 2007.

Warren Connors obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Dalhousie University from 1997 to 2001. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science with a focus on Machine Learning and Robotics at Dalhousie University, completing it from 2010 to 2013. Additionally, in December 2014, they obtained both the PRINCE2 Foundation and PRINCE2 Practitioner certifications from APMG-International.
