Alex Lee is an accomplished Director of Land Systems at DSTA since October 2020 and also serves as the President of DSTA Academy. Prior to this role, Alex held the position of Counsellor (Defence Technology) and Head of the Defence Technology Office at the Singapore Embassy in Washington DC from July 2016 to August 2020. Alex also contributed significantly to DSTA from April 2014 to May 2016 as the Head of Capability Development (Fighters) and AD(Plans & Control) in Air Systems. Earlier experience includes serving as a Programme Manager at the Defence Science & Technology Agency from February 2011 to March 2014. Alex Lee earned a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Singapore between 1996 and 1999.
