Wesles Lubin

Wesles Lubin is a U.S. Operations S.O.C. Lead (Business & Services) who works in the Security Operations Center Department. Wesles also participates in cyber security investigations, identification, and reporting on cyber threats. In addition, Wesles is a mentor to interns and junior analysts in the Defend Edge Hive Academy. Before becoming a veteran and joining the Defend Edge team, Wesles served 20 years in the Navy and retired as an Electricians Mate Chief Petty Officer. While enlisted, Wesles obtained his Bachelor of Science in Computer Networks & Cyber Security from the University of Marylands Global Campus. Additionally, Wesles earned his Associate in Applied Electronics at the Thomas Edison State College. Wesles believes that the effort and fortitude put forth adds up, and if you are determined and willing to continue the learning process, you will obtain both personal and professional growth. Wesles currently holds CompTia SEC+ certification and is a certified Fortinet NSE 4 Network Security Professional. Additionally, he has been an award recipient five times for Robot Analyst of the week.
