Andrew Davey

Andrew Davey has a diverse work experience spanning over several years in the field of network engineering and security. Andrew currently works as a Security Product Lead at DEFEND since November 2022. Prior to this, they were associated with Vodafone New Zealand from 2014 to 2022, serving as a Product Owner - Security and later as a Security Design & Delivery Manager. Before that, they held the position of Manager OSS & Security Design at Vodafone New Zealand from 2011 to 2014. Andrew also worked as a Senior Security Specialist at Vodafone New Zealand from 2005 to 2011. Earlier in their career, they gained experience as a Technical Consultant at Interconnect / Datacom Engineering Ltd from 2002 to 2005, a Network Engineer at Unisys from 2001 to 2002, a Network Consultant at Travelex from 1999 to 2000, a Network Engineer at Nabarro Nathanson from 1998 to 1999, a Network Support Engineer at Nomura from 1998 to 1998, and a Network Engineer at DEC from 1997 to 1998. Andrew started their career as a Network Consultant at Tech-Tonics Group Ltd from 1993 to 1997.

Andrew Davey completed a Bachelor of Technology in Information Engineering from Massey University from 1990 to 1993. Andrew also obtained a certification in Certified Information Security Manager® (CISM) from ISACA in August 2011.
