Ingunn Holte currently serves as COO and Head of Advisory Services at Defendable, a position held since February 2021. Prior to this, Ingunn Holte was a Senior Manager in Cybersecurity and Manager in Security Services at BDO Norge from March 2015 to January 2021. Ingunn Holte's earlier experience includes advisory roles at the Ministry of Justice and Public Security, and the Norwegian National Security Authority, as well as a position as a Higher Executive Officer at NorCERT. Ingunn Holte holds an M.Sc. in Political Science with a focus on Administration and Organizational Science from the University of Bergen, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Agder.

In November 2020, BDO Cybersecurity was divested from BDO Norway, whereupon new investors came onboard and the name changed to Defendable AS. Through a formal cooperative agreement, Defendable’s cybersecurity services continue to be a vital part of BDO’s operational security service line-up towards its existing and potential new clients.
