Magnus Wirkola is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Defendable AS since November 2020. Prior to this role, Magnus held various positions at BDO Norge from August 2016 to February 2021, including Manager and Senior Associate in BDO Cybersecurity, as well as completing a two-year trainee program that spanned audit, cybersecurity, strategy, and business development. In November 2020, BDO Cybersecurity was divested from BDO Norway, whereupon new investors came onboard and the name changed to Defendable AS. Through a formal cooperative agreement, Defendable’s cybersecurity services continue to be a vital part of BDO’s operational security service line-up towards its existing and potential new clients.
