Becca Settele is a Conservation GIS Analyst at Defenders of Wildlife since April 2023, previously serving as a Conservation Certification Reviewer at Wildlife Habitat Council from November 2020 to July 2023, and as a Wildlife Biologist with the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife from January 2019 to April 2023. Becca's expertise includes mapping endangered species, data management for vernal pools, and conducting environmental reviews to protect wildlife in Maine. Earlier roles include statistical analysis for Piping Plover conservation at Mass Audubon, research on turtle species at Antioch University New England, and managing outdoor programs for the Maine Bound Adventure Center. Becca holds a Master of Science in Conservation Biology from Antioch University New England and a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Biology from the University of Maine.
