John Kinas

John Kinas has had a diverse work experience, with roles in various organizations. John started their career as a Technology Manager at the Association for Career and Technical Education in 1999. In 2000, they became the IT Director at the District of Columbia Bar, where they worked until 2014. During this time, they also had a brief stint as a self-employed independent IT consultant. From 2014 onwards, they joined Defenders of Wildlife as the Director of Information Technology. Recently, they retired in 2019.

John Kinas attended Carroll University from 1970 to 1974, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in History and Political Science.
