Nancy Gloman

Vice President Of Field Conservation at Defenders of Wildlife

Nancy Gloman has extensive work experience in wildlife conservation. Nancy served as the Vice President of Field Conservation at Defenders of Wildlife since 2010. Prior to that, they worked at the US Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) from 2007 to 2010 as the Assistant Regional Director for Ecological Services. Before their time at USFWS, Nancy held various roles at the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, including Assistant Regional Director for Ecological Services from 2001 to 2007, Assistant Regional Director for Migratory Birds and State Programs from 2004 to 2007, and Chief of the Division of Conservation Planning and Policy from 2001 to 2004.

Nancy Gloman attended Hanover College from 1970 to 1974, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. Nancy then went on to enroll at Indiana University Bloomington from 1978 to 1985, without specifying a degree or field of study.
