Ben Loh

Ben Loh is a highly experienced aerospace engineer with a diverse background in research, development, and entrepreneurship. Currently serving as the Chief Aerospace Engineer and Co-Founder at DefendEye P.S.A. since February 2023, Ben Loh has also been an Assistant Research Professor at the Oklahoma Aerospace Institute for Research and Education since December 2015. With a total of 18 years in the research institute and startup ecosystem, Ben Loh specializes in the design and prototyping of unmanned systems for a variety of applications, achieving notable collaborations with organizations such as NASA, Toyota, and the Department of Defense. Previous roles include Senior Research and Development Engineer and Founder/President at ModernBlox, Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer at Unmanned Cowboys, and leadership positions at Oklahoma State University, where Ben Loh played a significant role in various academic and competitive initiatives. Educational qualifications include a PhD and a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Oklahoma State University.
