Director, DFAS Indianapolis at Defense Finance and Accounting Service

Mr. Davis is the Director of the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) in Indianapolis.

Previously, Mr. Davis had been the Deputy Director of the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) Indianapolis since Nov 2019. He is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the federal government’s third-largest building and over 4,100 federal employees across the globe that provide a range of finance and accounting services to the U.S. Army, the U.S. Air Force, and the U.S. Veterans Administration, and 26 U.S. Defense Agencies.

Prior to this, Mr. Davis was the Director of Enterprise Management Services at DFAS since July 2019. He promoted continuous process improvements and project management principles across the agency, improved the proliferation of cost-effective acquisition strategies, and managed agency-wide support capabilities and solutions. He also served as the agency’s Component Acquisition Executive, Continuity Coordinator, and Insider Threat Senior Official ensuring implementation and compliance with all Department of Defense acquisition, continuity, and insider threat policy and regulations.
