Mr. Shawn McCracken is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Rome site. He’s responsible for leading 1,000+/- DFAS employees who provide accounting and finance support to the Army, directing the DFAS Accounting Center of Excellence for Army and Navy medical support, and accounting services for the United States Special Operations Command.
Prior to assuming his role as DFAS Rome Director, Mr. McCracken served as Director, Assessment, Analysis, and Assignment in the Information Technology organization and has previously served in positions as Deputy Site Director, Limestone; Director of Accounting, Indianapolis; Director of Audit Readiness, Indianapolis; and various positions at DFAS Columbus.
