Julie Briggs

Julie Briggs is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in operations analysis and public affairs within the military sector. Currently serving as an Operations Analyst at Defense Media Activity since April 2012, Briggs previously held leadership roles such as Noncommissioned Officer In Charge at the Defense Information School, where responsibilities included managing academic and administrative issues for over 2,500 students and overseeing instructional support. Briggs also demonstrated expertise as Superintendent of Public Affairs at both the 374th Airlift Wing and the 20th Fighter Wing, leading teams to enhance communication strategies, crisis response, and community relations. A graduate of the University of Maryland Global Campus with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Briggs has consistently contributed to organizational success through effective leadership and strategic oversight.
