Thomas Arnholt has a diverse work experience in the media and broadcasting industry. Thomas currently serves as the Chief of Radio at the American Forces Network since 2020. Prior to this, they held various positions at the Defense Media Activity, including Chief of Radio Operations and Programming and Radio Tech Ops & Programming. Thomas also served as the Director of TV News and PD/MD at the AFN Europe. Before joining the Defense Media Activity, they worked as the Command Information Chief/Deputy PAO at the U.S. Army Garrison Stuttgart and as the Broadcast Operations Chief. Thomas started their career as a Soldier/Broadcaster at the American Forces Network - Heidelberg and later worked as a Soldier/Public Affairs Broadcast Journalist at the III Corps & Ft. Hood PAO. Thomas also worked as a Soldier at the BCT/IET. Prior to their military career, Thomas worked as an Air Staff (DJ) at WWCD 101.1 FM.

Thomas Arnholt has a diverse education history. Thomas attended The Ohio State University and pursued studies in Secondary Education and Teaching. Thomas also enrolled at Columbus State Community College to study Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies. Additionally, Thomas obtained a Certification in Radio and Television from The American School of Broadcasting. Although it is not specified, they also pursued further education at University of Maryland Global Campus. In terms of secondary education, Thomas attended Bishop Watterson High School from 1984 to 1988. Furthermore, they obtained a certification as a Certified Broadcast Networking Technologist (CBNT) from the Society of Broadcast Engineers.
