Behnam Farzam

Behnam Farzam has over 25 years of experience in sales and business development in the defense technology, comptech, and aerospace industries. Behnam is currently the Director of Sales and Business Development at Defense Technology Equipment since January 2019. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President at Comptech Corporation from 1999 to 2005 and as an Aerospace Sales Engineer at Kessler International Corporation from 1993 to 1999.

Behnam Farzam has a diverse education history. Behnam completed their MBA degree in Finance from the American University - Kogod School of Business between 1993 and 1999. Before that, from 1982 to 1984, they obtained a Master's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering from Virginia Tech. Prior to that, from 1979 to 1982, Behnam Farzam earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Their earliest education experience was at Northrop University from 1977 to 1979, where they completed the Airframe & Powerplant Technician program in Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering Technology/Technician.
