Medical CBRN Operations at Defense Threat Reduction Agency

Daniel Lawindy has a distinguished career in medical operations specializing in Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) threats. Currently serving at the Defense Threat Reduction Agency since July 2021 in various roles including CWMD Plans and Operations Officer and Chemical Weapons Treaty Compliance Specialist, Daniel has prior experience as Chief of Radiological Defense at the Pentagon Force Protection Agency from September 2018 to July 2021. Daniel has held significant positions at Martin Army Community Hospital and Fort Belvoir Community Hospital, focusing on health physics and radiation safety. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Weapons of Mass Destruction from Missouri State University and a CWMD Graduate Fellowship from National Defense University, along with prior degrees in Nuclear Environmental Protection and Biomedical Sciences.
