Norman Maple is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in defense and military operations. Currently serving as a Regional and Counter Proliferation Analyst at the Defense Threat Reduction Agency since April 2019, Norman previously held significant roles, including positions within the Office of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, where responsibilities included oversight of the Proliferation Security Initiative and Missile Technology Control Regime as an Interdiction PolMil Officer. An accomplished military leader, Norman's career highlights include commanding the Military Sealift Command in Guam and serving as Chief Staff Officer for Commander Destroyer Squadron TWENTY TWO, among various other leadership roles. Academically, Norman holds a Master of Science from the National Defense University, a Master's in National Security and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College, and a Bachelor of Science from Norwich University.
