Caleb Welton

Caleb Welton has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of software development and technology. Caleb is currently working as the Co-founder and Chief Architect at Definitive, starting in December 2021.

Prior to their current role, Caleb co-founded Autonomic in 2016 and held the positions of Co-founder and Senior Vice President (SVP) of Engineering. In May 2021, they also took on the role of Co-founder and SVP of Technology. However, they left Autonomic in February 2022.

Before Autonomic, Caleb worked at Pivotal Software, Inc. from 2013 to 2016. Caleb initially joined as a Director of SQL on Hadoop, and later became a Senior Manager of Predictive Analytics. At Pivotal, their responsibilities involved enabling customers to build new applications using big and fast data and cloud-independence solutions.

From 2012 to 2013, Caleb worked at EMC as a Manager of Database Analytics. Caleb then transitioned to the role of Senior Consultant Software Developer at EMC from 2011 to 2012, and later held the position of Consultant Software Developer in the Data Computing Division from 2010 to 2011.

Prior to EMC, Caleb gained valuable experience at Greenplum as a Consultant Software Engineer from 2008 to 2010. Caleb began their career at Oracle in 1998 as a Principal Software Developer and remained with the company until 2007.
