Laura Ogumka

Laura Ogumka, B.Comm, PMP®, CSM®, is an accomplished project manager with extensive experience across various organizations including Definity, the Toronto School of Management, and Toronto Metropolitan University. At Definity, Laura currently serves as Co-Vice Chair of The Anti-Racism & Cultural Equity Employee Group and Project Manager for PI Initiatives, achieving significant reductions in deployment delays and increasing automation for claim submissions. Previously, Laura successfully led projects to turnaround milestones and improve team performance, demonstrating strong skills in project recovery, stakeholder collaboration, and risk mitigation. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Commerce from Toronto Metropolitan University and multiple certifications in project management.
