Amber Mitchell

Amber Mitchell is a Senior Policy Advisor at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, focusing on Domestic Ocean Climate Policy since April 2025. Previously, Amber held various roles within the same department, including Senior Policy Advisor for International Ocean and Climate Change Strategy and Negotiations, and Food Waste Prevention, where responsibilities included leading initiatives on food waste measurement and reporting, managing stakeholder engagement, and collaborating across government and industry. Amber also has experience as a Legal Secretary and Compliance Deputy at Capstone Solicitors and as a Research Intern at the University of Bristol. An alumna of the University of Bristol, Amber earned a Bachelor of Arts in History.
