Anna Powell FCIPD has extensive experience in human resources, currently serving as the Head of Strategic Projects and previously as a Senior Human Resources Business Partner at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs since November 2017. Prior roles include Senior HR Business Partner and Operational Learning and Development Manager at the Environment Agency from February 2008 to October 2017, HR Business Partner at West Sussex County Council from 2005 to 2008, and HR positions at Portsmouth Housing Association from 2003 to 2005. Anna holds multiple qualifications, including a Level 7 degree in Organisational Development and Design obtained in 2020, a degree in Employment Law from Cardiff University, a Master's degree from the University of Portsmouth, and a BA in Politics (hons) from the University of Southampton. Additionally, Anna is pursuing a Diploma in Psychotherapy at the University of Exeter, further enhancing expertise in organizational and human resource development.
