Ashley Stephens is an experienced digital delivery leader currently serving as the Digital Delivery Lead for the Future Farming and Countryside Programme at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs since April 2021. Prior to this role, Ashley held the position of Head of Digital Operations at DfE Digital from September 2018 to March 2021, and served in multiple capacities at the Government Digital Service from February 2012 to September 2018, including Programme Director for Government as a Platform and Delivery Manager on GOV.UK. Ashley has also worked as a Director at Stephens Consultancy Ltd. and has managerial experience from Accenture, where expertise included strategic IT assessment and enterprise architecture strategy. Earlier career roles include research positions at QinetiQ and Zeneca Agrochemicals. Ashley holds an MSci in Chemistry with Industrial Experience from the University of Bristol.
