Emmanuel Lee is an experienced policy professional currently serving as the Head of Intergovernmental and Multilateral Strategy for the Northern Ireland Directorate at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs since May 2021. Prior to this role, Emmanuel was the Head of EU Supplementary Negotiations at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, focusing on business growth for international SMEs across the Asia Pacific region. With a background in prison reform policy at the Ministry of Justice UK, as well as experience in social research within the Department for Work and Pensions, Emmanuel has developed a comprehensive skill set in policy development and strategic research. Emmanuel's educational credentials include an MSc in Security Studies from University College London and a BA in Economics and Politics from the University of Leeds.
