Fabiola Alvarado

Fabiola Alvarado, PhD, is currently a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Water Security and Governance at the University of Oxford since November 2022, and serves as the Impact Lab Lead at Blue Range Labs. Additionally, Fabiola holds the position of Associate Lecturer at Oxford Brookes University and recently acted as Course Director for the MSc Environmental Change and Management program at the University of Oxford. Fabiola contributed as a consultant for The World Bank, co-authoring a paper on sustainable groundwater governance. Previous roles include Secretary General of the Global Water Leaders Group and Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Waterloo, where research focused on water governance institutions. Fabiola's academic background includes a PhD in Social and Ecological Sustainability from the University of Waterloo, an MSc in Environmental Governance from the University of Oxford, and a BA in Economics from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.
