Hannah A. is an experienced leader in sustainable agriculture and food security, currently serving as Team Leader for International Agriculture and Sustainable Land Use at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs since June 2017. With a focus on developing international sustainable agriculture policies and managing a £170 million global programme portfolio, Hannah has also successfully led initiatives related to food vulnerability, including a £16 million grant fund during the COVID-19 pandemic. Previous roles include leadership in food strategy and supply resilience during EU Exit preparedness, project management for local growth initiatives at the Higher Education Funding Council for England, and implementation of health-focused food programs in schools at the London Borough of Lambeth. Hannah holds a Master of Arts in Globalisation and Development and a BA in Politics from the University of Warwick.
