James Foley currently serves as the Head of the Data Science and Modelling Team at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, leading efforts on the Environmental Land Management schemes. With prior experience as a Senior Data Scientist at Deep Planet, James utilized statistical and machine learning techniques to derive insights from environmental and satellite data. Academic contributions include designing and instructing courses at the University of Oxford related to AI and environmental science, as well as a statistical advisor role in the Department of Zoology.
