Mariam Batchelor

Mariam Batchelor serves as a Policy Adviser for the EU Strategy and Negotiation team at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs since July 2019, focusing on EU engagement and negotiations. Alongside this role, Mariam has worked as a Freelance Communications Consultant since March 2018, collaborating with various third sector organizations and the APPG for Getting a Better Brexit for Young People. Previous experience includes positions such as Youth Program Coordinator at Girl Guiding UK and Communications Consultant for organizations like the International Institute for Environment and Development and the Green Economy Coalition. Mariam holds a Master of Arts in English Literature and a Bachelor's degree in English and American Literature from the University of Kent.
